Dr. Jim Ventresca is a seasoned Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist with over four decades of experience. Currently based in Calais, VT, he has excelled in various roles, including Principal and Instructor at AcuPractice Seminars.com, Postgraduate Faculty at the Texas Chiropractic College, and Adjunct Faculty at ChiroCredit.com.

Dr. Ventresca, licensed in Massachusetts and New Mexico, holds a National Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture. He earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and received advanced training in Beijing, China. With a diverse background, he has contributed significantly as a clinician, educator, and leader.

His extensive career includes roles such as Academic Dean at Southwest Acupuncture College and Program Medical Director of Integrative Medicine at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Ventresca has been actively involved in community service, serving as President of the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission and contributing to various boards and committees.
