Dr. Joseph Foley is a practicing chiropractor in Salem, VA, with over three decades of experience and a deep passion for chiropractic history and philosophy. A Life Chiropractic College graduate, Dr. Foley is a Fellow of both the International Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

An accomplished author and historian, he has published extensively in Chiropractic History: The Archives and Journal of the Association for the History of Chiropractic and co-authored The Palmer Chiropractic Green Books – The Definitive Guide. His leadership roles include serving as Past President of the Virginia Society of Chiropractic, Legislative Co-Chair of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association, and Director of the Association for the History of Chiropractic.

At Chiropalooza 2025, Dr. Foley will co-present Virginia Chiropractic History & Spizz Philosophy Forum, highlighting the pioneering chiropractors of Virginia and leading a dynamic discussion on the “why” behind chiropractic care.
